Heather Dubbeldam
A fourth-generation architect with 25 years of experience in Canada and internationally, Heather is known for exacting standards in the design, detailing and execution of her firm’s projects, her integrity in business, and her dedication to leadership in the profession. She is a registered architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (FRAIC), a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of Sustainable Buildings Canada and the Canada Green Building Council. Heather is passionate about the long-tail of architecture and its lasting impact on the environment and social fabric of our built environment. She has been recognized as a leading advocate for sustainable design and the betterment of our built environment in Canada, and is committed to advancing an architectural and social agenda through her practice’s built work and design research. A well-respected architect in Toronto, Heather is active in the design and architecture community as a mentor and a critic. She is a regular guest lecturer at schools of architecture and industry events across Canada and she is involved with numerous boards and committees that align with her advocacy objectives.
